My parents had put a camera in my hands before I started pre-school, and by the time I got to middle school they couldn't pry it out. I photographed my first wedding at 14 as a gift for the bride. I'm glad to say that while the bride was pleased with the images, my skill has increased greatly with the years of experience I've had since then, especially with the three-month photography trade school I did with University of the Nations.
My dream is to use photography and communications skills to tell stories which enable anti-human trafficking organizations and other humanitarian groups to increase their capacity for caring for vulnerable people groups. I graduated in 2019 with a photojournalism degree at the University of North Texas and have continued pursuing that goal since then, working with various non-profits in Texas and in Romania.
